Ora Zabloski
Managing Director

A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Ora holds a Masters degree in Public Affairs. She has undergraduate Arts degrees in both Psychology and Sociology and is a graduate of Northwestern, conjoint program in counselling, in Chicago, Illinois. Ora is also a registered nurse.

Her background includes a successful career in senior public services roles in both Manitoba and Alberta in the health and social service sectors. She has held positions as Director of Human Resources at Foothills Hospital and later the University of Calgary. Ora continued her career in the private sector as Vice-President, People and Corporate Services at Cell-Loc Inc., a Calgary based global wireless location provider. She has also held executive positions with FutureLink Corp., a US based technology firm and NOVA Corporation, here in Calgary.

In addition, Ora has very strong ties with the community, serving on numerous Calgary Boards:

• Director and Chairperson of the Governance Committee – Information Communications, Electronics and Technology Alliance (InfoTech Alberta, 2001 - present)
• Founding Director Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation, (an international development agency, 2001 - present)

Ora has over twenty-five years experience in executive leadership positions, including Board Director appointments in the corporate, public and not for profit sectors. She has successfully completed searches for public, private, government and not-for-profit organizations. Assignments have included securing outstanding contributors for Board Director, President, CEO, senior Executive, Director, Manager and senior professional positions across a broad range of industries and sectors.
